An Introduction To TVP Meats

Are you wondering what enlightenment can the textured vegetable protein MEATS bring to your lifestyle? These wonderful products will enrich the lives of vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters; who all strive to be more health conscious. The veggie meats have the look, the aroma, the texture and the taste of crumbled meat. They each can be used in any recipe that you would use the corresponding meat, and are even easier to cook with. With the dehydrated veggie meats, you will heat some water (microwave) and mix with the hot water, 50/50, to double the meat product and get it recipe ready in just a few minutes. Start building your family recipe the same as you always have, just using your new “meat” that will be much healthier for you now. You can even make meatloaf or salisbury steaks. The product is offered in different textures, like chunks or crumbles. If you want a finer grind then you can do that very easily while it is dry, in a mini food processor and pulse a couple of times. You may want the finer product for Mexican food, spaghetti sauce or meatloaf for instance.

Textured vegetable protein meats make the choice to eat healthy easy and enjoyable. This is an all around great product that we know you will love. High quality textured vegetable protein. Kosher.

Can be used in your kitchen for up to two years; or sealed for longer term storage. Packaged by hand for optimum quality, care, and freshness in resealabe mylar bags or plastic jars.

TVP meat bits also have a great shelf life for your kitchen cupboard and can be put away as long term food storage for survival or emergency preparedness. I will include another blog discussing dry canning, to preserve your dehydrated foods of every kind at home quickly and easily… with a shelf life of up to 15 years after dry canning.

Besides the dry canning, which I hope you will try at home; the dehydrated veggie meats will keep for 1—2 years unopened, as is. After opening, place in your refrigerator as you would any other meat product for the next few days. There are two ways to keep your veggie meat after opening for your first recipe. The tvp meats do have salt, and are low in fat, high in protein, calcium, iron, fiber. So if these nutritional facts agree with you, then you can start living a healthier lifestyle; have MORE protein, more energy, more fiber, more nutrients

… less fats, less hormones, less chemicals, less calories, and less of the things which are not good for you.
