As they say “You gotta go, you gotta go”.
The rule of thumb is: You gotta go… and go consistently. The way that works best for the body is to go during a certain time slot during the day, every day.
Your body gets adjusted to the regularity and starts expecting you to excrete during the certain time of the day. That is the best case scenario. There is nothing worse for a physically and internally healthy individual than not going. That ruins the whole process and might take a few days to get it back to normal.
Let’s look at this scenario.
You usually go in the morning, let’s say at around 8 am and at around 9am start your workout. Your body is fresh, you woke up, did your things, did not have breakfast, just had coffee and went to the gym. Body is rested, stomach is empty and you have enough energy for the workout. The workout usually goes great.
Now if your stomach is full, then it will be struggling to keep up with your demands. You will be overworking, getting cold sweat, your stomach will get bloated since it is trying to juggle a few tasks at the same time. The whole workout will be ruined.
In either case, that is what the experience has taught us. For best results, either train in the morning on an empty stomach, or if you are training during the day, eat 2-3 hours prior to workout, keeping in mind that workout is coming and you don’t want to overstuff yourself.
And remember no eating between meals. Let your stomach switch off from time to time, and you will see how much more energy you will get from such a little thing.
Hold on a second. What about all those detoxification or detox programs as they have become to be known today. Well, from what we know those are based on natural ingredients that are usually blended into green goo that you are required to drink regularly. Basically, it works just like laxative but in a bigger bottle.
Does it work? The idea is to clean your intestines of all the crap that has been accumulating there for years. You should feel rested, and fresh afterwards. Unless you want to spend the money go ahead and give it a shot, however we don’t think it is required. You can accomplish the same results eating regular food, for example a watermelon is a good cleaning fruit. More about that later.
For now simply keep in mind – don’t eat so much in general and definitely give your stomach a rest. Go Ahead. Give it a Try.
